love of pennies~

some of the best memories that i have had are from the past. Like how i use to laugh so hard when something funny was said. Or when i had those embarrassing moments in life that you laugh at a day after it happened. in with the struggles and hardships were good. I remember the significance of a flower, or how you laugh, the smell of your perfume that was left on the pillow after you slept on it. I can only now think of dying memories of the good times now that your not mine... truth be told though your smile still reflects in my eyes sometimes when i am alone and having a long, lonely day... who knows how it would have turned out if we were still together... Only to leave me to see how life is and the harsh reality sets in that someone of the now reminds me of the past... only i can not tell he cause she is not interested in me... my age deprives me, and yet God has all control of my life.

hopeless disdain

Do we take the stucuture that has set in out mind the falsehood of the lies we are living and take it all away? Some one once said the mind is a terrible thing to waiste, or is it really? We waste away our lives on material things and products that destroy our health. give the difference that makes it so the only thing of waste. The youth culture of today thrives on hate, anger, pain, and loneliness, yet all we do is push them down into it. A generation that has raised itself on these things seems to be loosing touch wit the generations before. Nothing is sacred to them, they have become desensitized to the ethics and the things that used to be sheilded from them. No surprised for the generation that knows no ethics, true love, or trust.

Ones heart breaks the more that this truth becomes more apparent to the condition that we have become accustomed to. The scars of this generation now become the desired fashion of the soul. To wear their emotions, and pain like it were a fad, pretending that it doesn't hurt, its hard to see through the tears. Violence is no thought, it is nothing more than another day for them. It is something that is inherited in the system in which they live. If these generations do not find a spark of hope then they will be lost for all eternity that awaits us all, jsut because no one showed them that they cared. That hope tends to change our outlook on them as well as ourselves. Don't just say it, reach out and touch the hearts of all that cross your path so they can know the love of Christ.

Back in the Swing

Hey I'm back from my internship. It was so awesome while i was there, we got to teach to the youth and get them involved more with the church. The time was well spent, God revealed many things to me over the time that I was there. Not only about the youth but also about myself, and my ministry...
I did have my share of work as I did transfer my job at fedex there, but don't get me wrong i spent plenty of time relaxing on the lake with the pastor and just chilled.

Now it is time to be back in the swing of classes as my college classes have started up since yesterday. I am in my last year of college, and can not wait to get out of here so that i can begin to lead a real life of work and ministry. hope to let ya know about anything else.

I am going to be involved in doing an internship for the next month and a half starting june 1st. I am excited and I can not wait to get started. I will be doing it in a town called DeQueen Ar. I can not wait to get started and reach out to the youth that are at the church and surrounding area.
I just ask that you keep me in your prayers and that perhaps keep in touch from time to time. Lynn

Conflict of change

In the midst of time I have found that where there is coflict there is change. When change happens (and it will, its inevitable) people do not like change because it forces us to react and change how we do things. If we do not like change then it for the most part is because people are afraid of what they do not understand and tend to make nervous.
